Music that heals…
Choose to Choose is a statement that a mentor of mine uses, and his name is Bob Stevens. When I hear the phrase, choose to choose, my heart and mind says yes. These three little words are loaded with energy. And they also remind me of a poem/prayer that I wish to share.
This is the beginning of a new day.
God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it or use it for good.
What I do today is very important
because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever,
Leaving something in its place I have traded for it.
I want it to be a gain, not a loss — good, not evil.
Success, not failure in order that I shall not forget
the price I paid for it.
This is about choosing to put time and energy into what’s important, how to better communicate, how to improve our health, how to better spend our day, and our life. If you normally make statements like “I’m just going to flow with whatever comes along,” you are choosing. Yes, I agree it is great to be flexible, and it’s important to choose with follow through.
Many years ago I remember hearing about an elderly black woman that had passed at the age of 98. She wasn’t anyone that most people would normally remember. She worked either in a laundry mat or school cafeteria for most of her life. She had no family and lived very meagerly. But for years she had diligently saved her monies. She willed her life saving to an organization that helped disadvantaged girls go to college. At the end of her life she had amassed just over one million dollars. A long time ago, she made a choice to help these young women, and she stayed the course.
Everyone has something that’s important to them, maybe it’s taking that European vacation, buying a home, helping an organization financially or through volunteering, rallying friends and neighbors to help clean up trash, or being a steady parent. It really doesn’t matter what it is or how big it is, what does matter is choosing and sticking to a plan.
Choosing to Choose raises our integrity, energy, love and wealth levels. Life looks better every which way we turn. So take this time to review where you are and who you’d like to be as you grow. Stop the mindless eating and watching TV. If you enjoy food, then savor each delectable morsel. If you love TV, then just pick 2 or 3 favorites. Part of choosing to choose is keeping a clean and neat environment so that we can be more flexible when those special flowing moments arrive.
Choosing to Choose is also about enjoying life while driving in traffic and working. Choose an attitude to live by, Choose how to spend your time, Choose love, grace, integrity, health and wealth through peace in your heart.
Peace, Love and Blessings,
Beth
Holy Harmony CD by Jonathan Goldman and Sarah Benson is for deep relaxation and healing through the nine biological codes/frequencies found in the bible. These divine cords activate the thymus gland and Christ energy, cleansing the imbalanced and negative vibrations within the body.
Each night as I fall into a peaceful slumber, I play the Holy Harmony CD so that my energetic body is cleansed and balanced. Of course, this also helps the physical body too by eliminating the stress from the energetic pathways.
