Dalai Lama’s Birthday Celebration & July Special
Can We Break Guinness World Record?
Hola! Blessed Beings:
This Saturday is a very special event. First we are celebrating the Dalai Lama’s birthday, and, second, we are setting out to break a Guiness Book World Record. The number we require is 250 singing bowl meditation. We only need to meditate and have bowls singing for five to ten minutes, so this will be a fun and short event.
I truly hope you will participate. Ten Thousand Villages on South Congress has many beautiful bowls you can purchase (the bowls are all fair trade too). Also Ten Thousand Villages will have a few bowls that can be checked out for the event with a valid ID.
Here is their link for the details of the event:
If you have a bow, bring it. Let’s set a new world record through Guiness, and celebrate the Dalai Lama’s birthday at the Open-Air Rotunda of the Texas State Capital with all of Blessed Beings of Light!
Last year we missed the Guinness record by just 52 people, this year we’ll beat it! It is BYOB (bring your own bowl). Visit us at Ten Thousand Villages to purchase one today.
Please arrive at the Capitol at 9am, enter at the South entrance.
Thank You and Many Blessings!
